Our Story

A journal for the
places we love.

Love Paso is a curated guide to Paso Robles wine country — independent, unhurried, and honest about what's worth your time.

There are plenty of lists.
This is something else.

Love Paso began with a simple conviction: that one of California's most remarkable wine regions deserved a guide as good as the place itself. Not a database. Not an aggregator. Something written by someone who actually lives here, who knows which winery is worth the drive on a Tuesday in January and which restaurant has gotten quietly extraordinary.

The model is simple. We only write about places we'd genuinely recommend to someone we care about. We make choices — and we explain them. Curation is a form of respect for your time, and we take it seriously.

Love Paso covers Paso Robles for visitors planning their first trip and for locals who've lived here for years and are still finding new things to love. The wineries and the restaurants, yes — but also the farmers market, the trail with the view nobody talks about, the bakery that sells out by 8am. The full picture of what it means to love a place.

This is an independent publication. We are not compensated for recommendations. We are not influenced by advertising. If we suggest something, it is because we believe you should go.

How we work.

I

Honest & Independent

We are not paid for recommendations. Our editorial independence is the only thing that makes this guide worth reading, and we protect it absolutely.

II

Curated, Not Comprehensive

Paso Robles has 300+ wineries. We don't list them all. We tell you which ones are worth your afternoon — and why. That distinction is everything.

III

Local at Heart

We care about this community — its makers, its farmers, its families. Love Paso is written for visitors, but it's made by people who chose to live here.

The Founder

Jennifer
Weissmuller.

Jennifer founded Love Paso after relocating to California's Central Coast — a region she'd visited for years and eventually fell for completely. With a background in premium brand sales and a multimedia degree from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, she brings an unusual combination of commercial acumen and genuine editorial sensibility to everything Love Paso covers.

Her career managing luxury brands — representing Thermador, Gaggenau, and Bosch across NorCal and the Pacific Northwest — taught her what real quality looks like, and how to communicate it to people who have options and know the difference.

Love Paso is the flagship publication of EverLove & Co, her California brand house — built to celebrate the places, people, and stories worth loving for a long time.
